Seeing Signs

ABC News published an article by Anne Krueger, Health.com, 19 Signs Your Thyroid Isn't Working Right, August 30th. It serves as a reminder to me and many thyroid health advocates and sufferers that you can't and should not ignore the signs of poor thyroid health.

Check it out. You haven't lost your mind, there is clarity at the end of the tunnel. Just listen to your body and see the signs.

Bahamas Mama ~ Atlantis

One of my favorite places is Nassau, Bahamas. I was there earlier this year in February, and like always, I truly enjoyed myself. My travel mates and I took a ferry to Paradise Island, for shopping and drinks at Atlantis. Atlantis has plenty to see and will keep you entertained. These glass sculptures are truly captivating and remind me of the scuptures at the Bellagio in Las Vegas, also by glass sculptor Dale Chihuly. He is amazing!

Pink Cast Coming Thru

My lovely pink cast that I am growing attached to... I rolled down a hill at Alpine Valley during the last song of Jimmy Buffett's concert last month. Great Show Jimmy!

How is your thyroid health today? Are you loving your thyroid self? I am, however, there is always time for improvement. I broke my leg a few weeks ago, so I have had extra time to read magazines, books and some of my favorite thyroid blogs. Let me save you some time. Thank you for the memories! I absolutely adore NYC. I spent a couple days there in April with my parents, who took off in March before me to celebrate their anniversary. I am so thankful for the experience, history, art and food. I can't wait to return. To New York with love...<3 Shemeka Rontè
